WWE RAW: Superstar of the show - Triple H

Amerta
Triple H 1

Drama. Drama. Drama.

The show started off with a montage of Triple H’s past couple of weeks, including his loss to Brock Lesnar at Extreme Rules, being injured the next night on Raw during a match against Curtis Axel and his rematch against Axel began, even after the supposed axe from Vince and Stephanie McMahon last week.

Triple H’s music filled the arena and he entered wearing wrestling gear. High hopes on getting to see the match we didn’t last week!

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

Triple H gets off to a good start, tossing young Axel from pillar to post until Vince McMahon walks out to ring announcer Justin Roberts and tells him to declare Axel the winner via disqualification.

This was obviously not acceptable to our big man who flexed his COO powers to walk over to Roberts and tell him that the match was being restarted. McMahon, who had already gone backstage, comes all the way back down to the ring and tells Roberts to announce that Axel wins via forfeit.

Too much drama for the first match of the night? Nay! This only gets better (or worse for some!)

Triple H once again called to restart the match, only difference being – this time as a 60-Minute Ironman Match. And this enrages McMahon even further. He walks back to the ring for a third time, gets on the microphone himself and tells Axel to leave because he’s already won twice.

Rather disappointing for those of us who were actually expecting to see the 60-Minute Ironman Match!

For a person like Triple H, not being able to compete against a young wrestler, can only mean 2 things –

1. Stephanie McMahon is extremely possessive about him & doesn’t want him to get hurt.

OR

2. Triple H has reached this stage in his career where he should stop fighting and concentrate on being a COO.

You take a call and tell us what you think. Is it time for Triple H to hang up his boots or does he have a few more years left on him?
