WWE releases statement on Heath Slater arrest warrant issue

WWE superstar Heath Slater

As noted earlier, WWE superstar Heath Slater has an arrest warrant out in his name in Atlanta for a 2011 incident Wrestlemania after party incident.

Slater, allegedly put a female security personal in a chokehold and attempted to get her into an elevator with the intent of dragging her back to his room at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta. Following the reports of the arrest warrant issue, WWE have responded with the following statement.

“WWE has been advised that a misdemeanor arrest warrant has been issued against Heath Miller (aka Heath Slater), but we have not seen a copy or been provided with the underlying charges. Once this information is received by WWE, we will take the appropriate action.”
