This week on RAW, John Cena was given the power to choose his opponent for Summerslam, and Cena gave the WWE Universe the power to choose his opponent.
There is one guy who has been the hottest superstar for months, and WWE Universe voiced their choice unanimously, as a loud ‘Daniel Bryan’ and ‘Yes’ chant broke out in the Barclays Center.
John Cena then picked Daniel Bryan as his opponent for Summerslam, and the place came unglued! It might just have been the biggest pop in quite a while, and Daniel Bryan led the crowd in ‘Yes’ chants.
Bryan deserves to be the champion more than anyone else, and it will be interesting to see how this feud plays out. Will WWE invest in Bryan like they did with Punk? If they do, WWE is about to get a whole lot interesting!
