As noted before, WWE superstar Roman Reigns had to be admitted to a hospital urgently to undergo a surgery procedure for an incarcerated hernia.

WWE updated the wrestling universe about his condition and announced that he would be unable to compete at the Night of Champions pay-per-view.

As a result, Reigns’ opponent Seth Rollins was declared as the winner of their match by forfeit. Dean Ambrose inevitably made his return in answer to the open challenge issued by Rollins.

About Reigns, it was mentioned in the during the pre-show and also in the PPV that he will be out of action for several months.

Reigns joins Daniel Bryan and Bad News Barrett in the list of superstars who have already been sidelined for a long time due to injury.
