We reported yesterday that Vince McMahon would be present on this week’s RAW.
The boss returned to WWE TV a few weeks back to confront Reigns regarding the Samoan Superman’s actions at TLC and was on the receiving end of a Superman Punch at the end of it all.
As we are not accustomed to seeing Vince on TV these days, Reigns’ World title victory had that much-needed impact.

Vince’ interjection proved costly for him as he was floored by Reigns and that would be what this week’s segment would revolve around. Roman tweeted his thoughts on Vince’s return of Twitter and highlighted what he did to the boss last time around.
McMahon’s return was thought to be a one-off affair earlier, but those speculations were squashed when WWE announced his appearance on RAW yesterday.
The real reason for the supposed change of mind is because RAW clashes with an important NFL Monday Night Football game with the Cincinnati Bengals taking on the Denver Broncos – a game that can have major implications on the playoffs.
Vince’s return is WWE’s attempt at garnering viewership – that is set to be dominated by the NFL. The final episode of RAW for the year would also see the return of John Cena in a match against United States Champion Alberto Del Rio.
Finishing off the year on a high note is a must and the company is ensuring they do just that, in spite of the daunting competition from NFL.
