Becky Lynch was supposed to face Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series in a Champion vs Champion match. It was by far the most anticipated bout on that card, but as you probably know, the match got cancelled after Nia Jax shoot punched Becky Lynch and concussed her.

Plans then changed and the injury made Becky Lynch hotter than ever. WWE realized that it was time to add her into the originally scheduled Ronda Rousey vs Charlotte Flair match at WrestleMania 35.

That match would have been a surefire main event, but Charlotte replaced Becky Lynch at Survivor Series, so we won't be seeing that rematch for WrestleMania 35. However, we could be on the cusp of seeing Becky Lynch take on Ronda Rousey in the main event of WrestleMania.
Who would have ever thought that the idea of Becky Lynch main eventing WrestleMania would be a reality, even a few months ago!
