WWE sure loves a hometown pop, and this Sunday provides them with a huge opportunity. Royal Rumble is taking place in Houston, which is the hometown of two-time Hall of Famer, Booker T. Last wrestling a match one year ago, the former World Heavyweight Champion is a regular on WWE Backstage and pay-per-view Kickoff Shows.
He has teased being involved in this year's Royal Rumble, one way or another. Booker T would be an excellent surprise entrant in the 30-man Royal Rumble Match, especially if Edge is not making his return.
The fans' reaction to this would match, or possibly exceed, the pop that Booker T received when he entered the 2011 Royal Rumble Match. But the Rumble isn't the only possibility for him. Booker could reunite with his brother, Stevie Ray, as Harlem Heat to take on The Revival.
There has been a small tease for this match in the past month, but it could actually happen in reality. Either way, WWE should use Booker T in some capacity, at the Royal Rumble. It would make for a memorable moment.
