#1 Drew McIntyre wins the Royal Rumble Match

McIntyre needs to win the Rumble.

There are a few names who could possibly win the Men's Royal Rumble Match. But from all of them, the most appealing choice is Drew McIntyre. For starters, he is extremely fresh. Despite having all the attributes to be a main-event staple in WWE, the company has only begun pushing him to the top of the card.

McIntyre has smoothly transitioned over to being a babyface on RAW and the fans are absolutely behind him. He is ready to be a star, and that could happen during the road to WrestleMania 36. A WWE Championship victory over Brock Lesnar would instantly make the Scotsman a star, if he isn't one already.

Other possibilities to win the match include Lesnar, Roman Reigns, and maybe Cain Velasquez. None of them sounds that exciting, for different reasons. But McIntyre would make for an excellent first-time winner. The Scottish Terminator has definitely earned his time in the spotlight.

This is a similar situation to the 2018 Rumble Match, which saw Reigns take a different path to his Universal Championship match at WrestleMania. Hopefully, WWE does this again and frees up the Royal Rumble to be won by Drew McIntyre.
