Speaking of Brock Lesnar and people who could face him during the Royal Rumble match, one of the most exciting possibilities is Matt Riddle making a surprise appearance. Riddle has been outspoken about his intentions of retiring Lesnar, and the Original Bro could get his moment in the spotlight against Paul Heyman's client.

NXT will be a part of the Royal Rumble, with a possible quota of 2 to 3 spots in the match. Matt Riddle should definitely take one of them. He has a tremendous upside and could benefit a lot from a confrontation with Lesnar unless, of course, he is dumped out immediately. But, hopefully, the two get a good amount of time to destroy each other.

Obviously, Riddle will not be in the conversation to win the match or even challenge Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. But this would give the former UFC fighter some warranted exposure, before his Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Final alongside Pete Dunne on next week's episode of NXT.
