Sasha Banks is set to defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Carmella at WWE Royal Rumble. The match was confirmed on SmackDown’s go-home show before the pay-per-view, and we will see the two Superstars battle it out once again. Banks has won all her title defenses against Carmella during the current reign.

She is expected to leave WWE Royal Rumble 2021 with her SmackDown Women’s Championship. Banks will most likely be the champion challenged by the winner of the women’s Royal Rumble match. In addition to that, she has been doing well with the gold and will most probably keep it intact until WrestleMania.

That said, we expect a good match between her and Carmella. The latter has Reginald on her side, which could prove to be disadvantageous for Banks. But The Legit Boss has taken care of that problem before and will surely do it again. If anything, it will contribute to a more credible victory for the champion at the WWE Royal Rumble.
