#1. Randy Orton equals Stone Cold Steve Austin’s record at the Men’s Royal Rumble 2022

Randy Orton is arguably the most experienced WWE Superstar who will compete in the men’s Royal Rumble this year. Orton has competed in 30-man over-the-top-rope matches several times and has a lot of experience behind him.

The Viper was recently the RAW Tag Team Champion with Riddle, but he lost the titles to Alpha Academy. Now that he doesn’t have a title around his waist, he will be looking to get back in the singles championship scene again.

Orton has already won the Royal Rumble twice in his career. He won it for the first time in 2009 and followed it up with another win in 2017. The Apex Predator will be one of the favorites to win the contest again this year.

WWE could look to give Orton a record-equalling victory in 2022. Stone Cold Steve Austin is the only superstar to have won the match thrice in his career. Orton could win the contest and become only the second man to win the Rumble thrice.

The win would give The Viper another headlining match at WrestleMania where he could end up winning another world title to get closer to another world record.
