Daniel Bryan (c) vs. AJ Styles - WWE Championship match

Daniel Bryan started to land a series of punches on AJ Styles and The Phenomenal One fought back. Styles was busted open. AJ hit a low dropkick on the knee on Bryan and went for a slide kick but Bryan got out of the way. Bryan hit a kick to AJ in the corner and hit a Dragon suplex but Styles kicked out.

Styles went for a Styles Clash from the middle rope but Bryan countered with a kick sending AJ outside. Back in the ring, Styles hit a springboard but Bryan got his knees up. AJ locked in the Calf Crusher and Bryan managed to get a rope break. Bryan hit the Yes kicks and went for a top rope move but AJ landed on his feet.

AJ locked in a calf crusher again but Bryan rolled out. Eric Rowan came out to the ringside as the match went on. The referee went down after an Enzugiri that missed AJ by a mile. Rowan came in and hit a chokeslam before Bryan got the three count but the referee missed the interference,

Result: Daniel Bryan def. AJ Styles and retained the WWE Championship

Rowan and Daniel attacked AJ after the match before walking out. It looks like a new alliance has been formed.
