AJ Styles takes on Daniel Bryan this weekend at The Royal Rumble for the WWE Championship, but it seems that his future beyond the Rumble is now somewhat uncertain.

Styles has been at the forefront of everything on SmackDown Live, to the point where he spent the best part of 2018 as the WWE Champion, but this is still seemingly not enough for Styles to continue to push forward with WWE.
The heart of the matter
AJ Styles is one of the biggest stars in WWE at present, but according to a report by PWInsider, the former WWE Champion is still yet to sign a new contract with WWE, which means that his current one will expire as part of WrestleMania season.
“Last I heard AJ’s deal is up sometime in April. I have not heard that they have come to terms on a new contract. That doesn’t mean that they won’t. That doesn’t mean that they will either,” he said via Ringsidenews.
What's next?
Styles will be part of the Royal Rumble this weekend as he looks to reclaim his WWE Championship from The New Daniel Bryan, but right now his future beyond The Rumble is unclear with rumors of an AEW move still on the radar.
