Ever since Kofi Kingston had been named the replacement for the injured Mustafa Ali in the Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Championship, he has taken the world by storm.

Firstly, an epic show-stealing performance in the gauntlet match on Smackdown in February, picking up victories over WWE Champion Daniel Bryan, Jeff Hardy, and Samoa Joe. Then, another outstanding performance in the Elimination Chamber PPV to go along with his over a decade of hard work and excellence, he has become the most over star in WWE besides Becky Lynch.

Rumors have been wild that the New Day star will have his moment at ‘Mania, and he will finally be rewarded for all his effort. However, we have some bad news. There have been reports that at least one of Lynch, Kingston or Rollins would lose their title match.

Now, Forbes has reported that this Kofi Kingston story is more a Daniel Bryan story, i.e. WWE wants to use Kingston's incredible momentum to put more heat on Bryan. As reported, the current plans are to have Kingston lose on April 7, that’ll elevate Daniel Bryan to the “super heel” status.
