What’s the story?
An image circulating around social media seems to show the early stages of the set design for WWE WrestleMania 34 next month in New Orleans.
In case you didn’t know...
The reveal of the set is something that many WWE fans look forward to in the days and weeks leading up to the event, as it makes the whole thing start to feel more real – plus, the company often goes all out with the design.

The set for WrestleMania 30, which was held in the same stadium as this year’s show, was incredibly well received due to the simple yet sophisticated idea of having a giant version of the logo.
The heart of the matter
As you can see in the following shot, it appears as if WWE will be going for a circle-shaped stage if this design turns out to be true. Some members of the WWE Universe are suggesting that the inside of the circle will feature nothing but LEDs, which would be quite the visual.
What’s next?
The official set likely won’t start being constructed until around 10 days before WrestleMania takes place on April 8th.
Last year in Orlando we were able to see quite a few leaked images courtesy of the event being held at an open-air stadium, however, with the show taking place inside a dome once again, we probably won’t see any official coverage until the night before when they conduct their annual ‘set reveal’.
Author’s take
From what little information we’ve been presented with, this looks like an intriguing concept. The initial shape looks like an adaptation of the WrestleMania 27 set, just minus the giant ‘WrestleMania’ logo at the top. It’s good to see that they’re not resorting to using the logo again like they did at 30, and hopefully, we’ll also be able to see some pyro.
With that being said, it’ll take a lot of effort to beat WrestleMania 33’s tremendous Universal stage.
