What's the story
A top Independent wrestler known for his time in Dragon Gate, CRASH and Lucha Libre Elite may be heading to either the WWE or Ring of Honor making for some interesting news and would be a big pickup for either company.
In case you didn't know...
This Lucha Libre wrestler is the current World Wrestling Association Champion (WWA), Lucha Libre Elite Welterweight Champion, The Crash Lucha Libre Cruiserweight and Tag Team Champion. Among these accolades, he made an appearance for Cody Rhodes' "All In" event teaming with Rey Mysterio and Fenix to battle The Young Bucks and Kota Ibushi. He has had a breakout year for 2018 and is arguably one of the most sought-after Lucha Libre wrestlers on the market.
The heart of the matter
In case you didn't figure it out or know who I am talking about, this wrestler is none other than Bandido. As talked about PWInsider Elite by Mike Johnson, both Ring of Honor and WWE are vying to sign Bandido to a contract. PWI's Mike Johnson was quoted as saying:
“I have heard that there is interest in Bandido. In fact, in the last couple of weeks Ring Of Honor and WWE have each sighted interest in Bandido, and shown interest in Bandito.”
Bandido is only 23 years old and is a growing sensation throughout the world of professional wrestling. He would be a great addition to either company and can fully be utilized as a breakout Superstar for either company, wherever he does end up. You can check out some highlights of his in-ring work in the video below.
What's next
Bandido is currently taking various booking dates for many wrestling promotions, such as Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) and World Series Wrestling (WSW).
