#1 Bruce Prichard on Hulk Hogan leaving WWE for WCW

Bruce Prichard recently spoke about how a former WWE Champion's move to a rival company left WWE surprised. Speaking on his podcast Something to Wrestle, Bruce Prichard talked about how WWE should have anticipated Hulk Hogan's move to WCW, but they didn't.

Hulk Hogan has been one of the biggest babyfaces in WWE ever since he started his career with the company. The former multi-time WWE Champion was the company's face for a long time before jumping ship to WCW.

Talking about the Monday Night War between WCW and WWE, Bruce Prichard talked about which Superstars that jumped ship from WWE to WCW made the biggest impact. Some of the names mentioned by him were Scott Hall, Lex Luger, and Hulk Hogan.

"I think that number one is probably more than any, I give it to Razor [Ramon] showing up, Lex [Luger] showing up, and Hogan's turn. When you look at all of that, this was a big move. This was a big move and it was a slap in the face. It was a kick in the balls because didn't see that one coming. Should have, but didn't," said Prichard. (H/t: WrestlingInc)

In the late 90s, Vince McMahon wanted to push younger talent, which led to Hulk Hogan going to WCW and joining Scott Hall and Kevin Nash to form nWo.
