Bubba Ray Dudley and D-Von once pitched a storyline to Vince McMahon about potentially crushing The Rock's throat and the WWE Chairman reportedly loved it. The Hall of Famer was on SiriusXM's Busted Open Radio when he revealed the stunning idea that never came to fruition.

He claimed that the idea was to take the voice away from The People's Champ. It was like taking the voice away from the people but despite the WWE Chairman liking the idea, it did not become a storyline.

"A long time ago, I pitched an idea to Vince McMahon about me and D-Von crushing The Rock's throat. So, The Rock couldn't talk anymore. I wanted to take away The People's voice from The People. Obviously, it never happened, but Vince told me that he really liked the idea."

It was an interesting idea and it is a shock that it did not see the light of day.
