Drew McIntyre will be taking on Dolph Ziggler for the WWE Championship at WWE's next PPV - Extreme Rules. However, it is unlikely that this program will go on for a long period and McIntyre will likely be in need of a new challenger by SummerSlam.

Drew McIntyre has hinted that he would want to face Randy Orton soon, however, as per reports it is more likely that he will be in a rematch against Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam.

Here is what Tom Colohue has stated about the possibility of Drew McIntyre facing Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam:

There has been a lot of talk recently, a lot of it by Drew McIntyre himself as to whether or not Randy Orton could be the challenger come SummerSlam. The expectation is that the main event will be Brock Lesnar in a rematch against Drew McIntyre at Summerslam. That is what is pencilled in at the moment.

He added that the plans may change if WWE decide to have Bobby Lashley face Brock Lesnar instead for his return match.
