WWE Rumor Roundup: Backstage heat on two former champions, Update on Jason Jordan's future and more - 2 June 2020 

Jason Jordan's WWE status

Jason Jordan made a return to WWE TV last week on the Jeff Hardy-DUI SmackDown segment. The injured WWE Superstar is working as a backstage producer and is still not cleared to make his comeback to the ring.

Sean Ross Sapp reported on Fightful Select that there are no plans for him to make a comeback right now. He had grip issues last summer and there is no news if he has recovered completely.

Also on SmackDown, his (Chad Gable) buddy Jason Jordan popped up. Jason Jordan has been out of action for two and a half years with some neck issues. He has been a producer for quite a while, one that people seem to like rather well, but no timetable on his return or if he could ever return. Last I heard in the Summer of last year, he was having grip issues and there were no plans for him to come back.

Jason Jordan is working on SmackDown now and it appears as though he will remain there for the foreseeable future.
