However, Sullivan's murky past, crippling anxiety issues, and a recurring struggle with injuries sadly spelled the end of his WWE career. Sullivan even hinted at quitting wrestling during a chat with Fightful after his release.
The former NXT Superstar might already have a fresh direction. Dave Meltzer reported that Lars Sullivan had begun boxing training, and his goal is to potentially get into bare-knuckle fighting.
It was added that Sullivan has no misconceptions or illusions about his age being a deterring factor while starting his boxing career. Sullivan is currently 32 years old. It was also noted that MMA and Boxing don't have many competitors who are as heavy as Sullivan, who walks around at 330+ pounds.
Lars Sullivan is a legitimate giant who has all the physical features to give bare-knuckle fighting a fair shot. Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship is also always on the lookout for big names, with Paige Van-Zant being the most recent former UFC fighter to have entered the BKFC ring.
Lars Sullivan's decision to give boxing a shot is a commendable one, and we wish him all the best for his future endeavors.
