#3. Vince McMahon sends several big WWE Superstars back to the PC for additional in-ring training
One of the biggest stories coming from the dirt sheets has been about Vince McMahon 'throwing a fit' about the in-ring work of the big men on the WWE main roster.
Dave Meltzer first reported it in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, and PWInsider would later reveal the WWE Superstars who were ordered to attend extra classes at the Performance Center.
The list includes Keith Lee, Otis, Dabba-Kato, Omos, and Dio Maddin (Mace).
It was reported that Vince McMahon was unhappy with the in-ring work of the big men and called for them to attend two classes per week at the PC, which would be conducted by Drew Gulak and Adam Pearce.
Fightful Select additionally reported that more Superstars were also sent back to the PC. The story about the edict was supposed to be a secret, but it got leaked out, which is always the case in pro wrestling.
Fightful Select also revealed several details about the development. The locker room and several people at the PC were 'baffled' by WWE's decision to send Keith Lee for extra in-ring training. Keith Lee is considered to be one of the better workers on the roster owing to his experience. Most people felt that Keith Lee just got caught up with the group of big men, and he would not have been sent to the PC otherwise.
There has been some concern regarding the in-ring safety of Otis, which was pointed out by a few people at Gorilla Position in recent weeks. Certain spots from Otis' matches were highlighted in which he could have done it more safely, and the decision was made to send Otis to the PC as well. In case you're wondering, there is no heat on the former MITB holder.
In fact, none of the Superstars reporting to the PC for the classes have any heat on them. WWE just wants to refine their in-ring skills and make them better workers.
In Omos' case, the giant was always expected to have a few sessions at the PC as he reportedly requires a lot of work in the ring. AJ Styles' bodyguard has not wrestled many matches since being signed to WWE.
