#2. Goldberg sends a message about Sting, reveals the WWE Superstars he wants to face
Goldberg is back in the news for his callouts regarding a match against Roman Reigns. While nothing is set in stone, WWE could be leaning towards a Roman Reigns vs. Goldberg match for WrestleMania 37.
Goldberg sat down for an interview with Bleacher Report and revealed that while Roman Reigns is next, he would love to face Randy Orton, Keith Lee, and Drew McIntyre in the WWE.
Goldberg said Randy Orton is one of the best in the business before praising The Viper's professionalism, promo skills, in-ring work, and overall character development. Goldberg is hell-bent on facing Roman Reigns next, but he would love to tangle with Randy Orton if given a chance.
Goldberg also shared his thoughts on Sting during the interview. Sting, who recently made his AEW debut, has had a massive influence on Goldberg's career.
Goldberg said that Sting is WCW and that he learned everything from the Icon. Goldberg would not have been the legendary Goldberg without Sting.
"Sting is WCW. Period, end of story. People want to say it was me for a period of time, but he just handed the reins to me for a little bit. Sting is that promotion. That promotion is Sting. Everything I learned, I learned from him. He was an integral part of my process becoming a professional wrestler. I wouldn't have done it without him."
Goldberg is a mainstream attraction, and WWE would ideally want him back for WrestleMania 37. While nothing has been discussed, it would be a safe bet to have Roman Reigns vs. Goldberg as the marquee 'Mania match.
