WWE icon Ric Flair recently spoke on the Busted Open Radio podcast. The Nature Boy opened up about his ideas for his storyline with Lacey Evans and his daughter Charlotte Flair. The program saw Ric Flair side with Lacey Evans as she continued to torment The Queen every week.
The storyline had to be nixed because of Lacey Evans' real-life pregnancy. Ric Flair revealed that he wanted to get back in the ring as part of the story, but his ideas were rejected because of health reasons.

"I did have some ideas. The problem was, they wouldn't want me to get in the ring because it's so hard to get me cleared because of my health issues. Even though I have been cleared by my doctors, I just don't think that they are prepared to let me get in the ring. In case something happened, it would never be, like I could have 40 releases, but it would that, why the hell are you doing it? Why the hell did you let him do that?"
Although it seemed as though Lacey Evans and Charlotte Flair were building up for a match at WrestleMania, with the Sassy Southern Belle of WWE out of action, Charlotte Flair will have to find herself another opponent.
