#4 Is Rey Mysterio really leaving WWE?

After the spot where King Corbin threw Rey Mysterio and Aleister Black off the roof during the MITB match, there was a lot of speculation regarding the future of Rey Mysterio in WWE.

Certain reports suggested that throwing Mysterio off the roof was the kayfabe death of the former WWE Champion and the end of his WWE run as he had not signed a new contract with the company. However, Mysterio's appearance on RAW this week proved that it is not the case.

Here is what Ryan Satin had said on Twitter:

If the rumors are true and Rey Mysterio is possibly on his way out of WWE, killing off his character by throwing him off the roof is certainly a unique exit.

Is Rey Mysterio leaving WWE?

As per Dave Meltzer of WON, these rumors are baseless and the Master of 619 has not been 'killed'. Meltzer stated that Mysterio is still with the company.

It will be interesting to see how WWE book Mysterio's future and how long the former WWE Champion will continue to be featured on RAW as his contract will be expiring soon.
