On a recent edition of his podcast, Bruce Pritchard discussed the infamous incident where Vince McMahon had a backstage fight with former WWE Superstar Nailz. Bruce Prichard and Conrad Thomson talked about why Kevin Wacholz, known as Nailz in WWE, was involved in an incident with The Chairman which led to him being fired in 1992.

Nailz had worked with WWE from 1989-1992 where he portrayed the character of a psychotic ex-con and had brief feuds with Bret Hart and The Ultimate Warrior. Conrad Thomson read about the incident from Bret Hart's book:

For the past six months, he had been building Kevin Wacholz as a psycho killer ex-con named Nailz. Kevin cornered Vince in his office and screamed at him for 15 minutes about all the lies he'd been told. His yelling got so loud I got goosebumps up my back as I listened from down the hall," Thompson said reading an excerpt from Hart's book. "Suddenly, there was a loud crash. Nailz had knocked Vince over his chair, choking him violently, until Lanza, Slaughter and a swarm of agents teamed up to pull him off. (H/T:WrestlingInc)
The incident led to a lawsuit that was later dropped. Bruce Prichard stated that he believes that no actual physical fight took place, and it was more of an altercation than the duo coming to blows.
He also stated that everything happened so fast that It was kind of a blur. He also stated that things got overblown and it is frustrating because that was not the way the event actually had happened that day, saying most of it were fabrications.
