#2 SummerSlam plans for former WWE Champion Rey Mysterio

It has been reported previously that Rey Mysterio has not yet re-signed with WWE. His contract got over a long time back but the 'Master of 619' continues to be a major part of RAW.

The belief is that WWE hopes to get Rey Mysterio to re-sign with the company by pushing his son Dominik. Tom Colohue has reported that the company is planning a Tag Team match with Rey Mysterio and Dominik facing Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy. However, he says this would only happen if Rey Mysterio decides to stay with WWE.

"The Mysterios vs. Rollins & Murphy feud is really up in the air at the minute. It is currently on the SummerSlam agenda to have Rey and Dominik Mysterio against Seth Rollins and Murphy. However, that really depends on if Rey Mysterio signs a new deal. It's also possible that we could see Dominik Mysterio vs. Seth Rollins in a singles match, but that would be done as a way to convince Rey Mysterio, by saying that here, 'we're pushing your son'."
