#3 Future plans for Finn Balor's 'Demon King' character in WWE

Finn Balor won became the first-ever Universal Champion in WWE a few years ago. However, things haven't gone as planned for the Prince of NXT since. After languishing on the mid-card of the main roster for years, Balor was sent back to NXT to bolster the brand with some star power. Funnily enough, he is now languishing in the mid-card of NXT with nothing significant to do.

Tom Colohue recently talked about Finn Balor and the future of the much-loved Demon King persona of his. He reports that Balor himself doesn't want to use that character anymore and it is unlikely that we will see Balor dress up as the Demon anytime soon.

"There are no plans to ever see the Demon King again in the WWE. No plans at all to have it in NXT. Finn Balor doesn't want the Demon King. He felt it was a bad thing to have on the main roster when he got there. So he is rebuilding himself a little bit. There maybe times when he may choose to go back to the Demon King but that's being left up to him. But at the moment, no plans for Demon King."
