#2. Backstage details on Randy Orton and The Fiend's Firefly Inferno Match at WWE TLC

WWE TLC ended with Randy Orton burning The Fiend down to a crisp, and the closing images of the PPV managed to break the internet.

WrestleVotes reported that the Firefly Inferno Match was taped during the afternoon on the day of the PPV. The original plan was for the Firefly Inferno to go before the Universal Championship match. However, WWE changed the lineup and booked Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt to main event the show.

The Inferno Match was pre-taped this afternoon and as of the first rundown, wasn’t scheduled to be the main event. Interesting move.

Paul Davis of WrestlingNews.co revealed additional details regarding how the match was filmed. WWE did a few retakes for the dangerous spots of the match, including the rocking chair moment that happened at ringside.

The finishing spot was edited together with the match, and as expected, WWE used an identical dummy of The Fiend. Several people were positioned off-camera to set out the fires, and it was noted that WWE was extra cautious and special precautions were taken.

The RAW after TLC didn't have The Fiend, but Alexa Bliss did return to tease the return of Bray Wyatt's alter ego.

The Fiend is a supernatural entity, and he would be back sooner rather than later.
