John Cena, who lost to Roman Reigns at WWE SummerSlam, has hinted that he is done with the company. PWInsider has reported that the former WWE Champion will make his final appearance for WWE at the SmackDown tapings at Madison Square Garden in New York City on 9/10.

"We are told that Cena is done with future WWE appearances due to filming commitments. Currently, Cena is only scheduled for the 9/10 Friday Night Smackdown taping at Madison Square Garden in New York City."

The report further stated that WWE knows that Cena will be unavailable following MSG and that there is no timetable for a future return as of now.

PWInsider has stated that WWE Officials are very impressed with former NXT UK Champion WALTER after his match against Ilja Dragunov at NXT Takeover 36. Even though WALTER lost and his 870-day long rein as the UK Champion ended, there is talk of moving him to the main NXT roster.

After his show-stealing match with Ilja Dragunov Sunday night at TakeOver 36, Insider says there is a lot of talk backstage that WALTER needs to be on the main NXT show on a consistent basis. (H/t: CSS)

WALTER has stated in the past that he is not interested in moving his base to the USA. He prefers staying in Europe and while he doesn't mind making the occasional NXT appearance, he is not looking to join full-time.
