#2 WWE Superstars tried to stop The Rock from becoming a World Champion, The Undertaker's support

WWE's new special, 'Meeting The Undertaker,' features several top WWE Superstars talking about their experiences of interacting with the Phenom.

The Rock also spoke about his relationship with the Deadman, and he revealed an interesting story from the early days of his career. The Rock was earmarked for his first world title run a long time ago, and many wrestlers within WWE wanted to stop it from happening.

The Rock explained that a handful of WWE Superstars tried to hold him back, but The Undertaker wasn't one of them. During that time, the Undertaker supported The Rock and told the 'Great One' to keep working hard as he had a bright future ahead of him.

"When I started to make the move and word started to get around that the office was priming me for a WWE Championship run, there were a handful of guys in the business at that time; they did everything they could to stop that run from happening. Undertaker was one of those guys who was always so steady, telling me, "Don't worry about it, kid. You just got out; you keep doing your thing, you have a hell of a future."

It doesn't get bigger than having the backstage support of The Undertaker. Thankfully, The Rock exceeded all expectations by becoming the most recognizable WWE Superstar of all time.
