#3 Reason why Gallows and Anderson did not leave WWE earlier

WWE recently released multiple Superstars in one-go owing to budget cuts caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Two Superstars who were included in these cuts were OC members Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson.

While all other Superstars hadn't been used much recently, these two former RAW Tag Team Champions were involved in WrestleMania 36 as well. However, the reason believed for their release is that the two had wanted to leave WWE before they were given a significant raise by the company.

Here is what SportsKeeda's Tom Colohue has reported:

No. They didn't ask for their release, umm, they were making $750,000 a year. They are not going to, you know, they didn't want to stay for what they were offered but when it got to 750, you get to a number where it's all of sudden like, 'Okay, we're not going to anywhere close to that elsewhere and it's like they hit a number.' At $500,000 they were willing to go, but $750,000, that was a different mentality.
