#6. Bray Wyatt is being built up for a 'special guy'
Bray Wyatt is currently enjoying the best phase of his career. The former WWE Champion has the backing of the Creative team and is the Universal Champion on SmackDown.
The Fiend is easily the most protected character on WWE TV at the moment, however, it's easy to guess that the company is building up Wyatt for a very big feud down the line.
Wyatt was originally rumored to have a triple threat match against Brock Lesnar and Adam Cole at Survivor Series but as revealed by Triple H, the creative team believed that a programme between Rey Mysterio and the Beast Incarnate was more sensible from the storyline perspective.
That forced the company to come up with something different for Wyatt and Cole.
In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer explained why keeping Wyatt away from Lesnar right now was necessary.
He went on to reveal that WWE could be protecting Wyatt for a big feud down the line against a 'super guy', who could most likely be Brock Lesnar.
Meltzer also revealed the possibility of Wyatt taking on Roman Reigns.
Meltzer wrote the following in the WON:
"He (Triple H) also said that there was talk of doing Lesnar vs. Cole vs. Wyatt at Survivor Series, but the decision was that Lesnar vs. Mysterio was the right program to continue at this time and that meant they had to do something else with the other two. Plus, right now, Wyatt should be kept apart completely from Lesnar for a long time. With the push they are giving Wyatt, they need to protect him for the super guy, and that’s Lesnar, not Reigns, although those would be the two key programs."
