#7. Enzo Amore reveals he was fired for interrupting Baron Corbin's promo
Enzo Amore was a guest on Chris Jericho's Talk is Jericho podcast and the former WWE Superstar, as expected, didn't disappoint as he revealed a bunch of interesting stories from his time in the WWE.
Amore revealed an incident from his time in NXT during a promo class in which he broke wind during Baron Corbin's promo and was subsequently fired for his actions. He was, however, rehired the next day after he was fined.
“One time we had a promo class [with] Dusty Rhodes, Baron Corbin was up there cutting a terrible promo. Baron was trying to get help and Dusty was helping him, and I just raised my hand and everybody looked at me, and I just farted, loud as hell. They fined me two hundred and fifty dollars, fired me that night, and then I got back into work the next day and they rehired me.”
Amore also revealed Vince McMahon's reaction to Big Cass going off script and unleashing an unwanted attack on a little person who was dressed up as Daniel Bryan during the infamous segment in 2018.
Cass was only supposed to hit a kick, but he went overboard with the intention to garner extra heat. McMahon was naturally furious backstage.
“This was specifically designed to get me uber, uber heat. Then I was panicking because I was like, ‘This is not the reaction they want.’ So then I did what I thought was right, I got back through the curtain, it was very, very bad. It was a bad night for me. That is the understatement of the century. Furious… he was furious. That was the first straw, rightfully so. That was such a bad decision. So stupid.” H/t Credit: Sportskeeda
