WWE dropped plans for Becky Lynch's return

Becky Lynch was touted to return at WrestleMania 37, and WWE reportedly had plans for her as well. However, they decided to scrap all that as they did not want to rush her back.

WWE reportedly wanted Becky Lynch to pen a new deal before making her return to the ring. She was reportedly backstage at Hell In A Cell too, but did not make an appearance in front of the camera.

Dave Meltzer had some backstage info on the same in the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Newsletter. He reported,

Expect a return of Becky Lynch relatively soon. She's been training at the Performance Center and was at the Hell in a Cell show. Lynch wasn't used at WrestleMania as first talked about and teased by her because they were waiting for her to sign a new deal, which is now in effect, and because they felt it was too early to debut her before she would be back wrestling."

Becky Lynch has been off WWE TV for nearly a year as she took a break to give birth to her and Seth Rollins' daughter.
