#1. Backstage update on the future of RAW Underground in the WWE
WWE chose not to air new segments of RAW Underground on the most recent episode of the Red brand, and many questions have predictably been raised regarding the future of the shoot-style wrestling contest.
Dave Meltzer revealed in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that RAW Underground is not finished, but everything is subject to change.
It was also reportedly revealed that Vince McMahon was inaccessible on RAW this past week as the show was put together at the very last minute. The WWE Boss and the creative team began writing the details of the show in the afternoon.
As for RAW Underground, WWE decided not to air segments of Shane McMahon's project due to the company's recent COVID-19 outbreak.
Meltzer reported the following:
Raw this week was put together at the last minute. Talent had no idea what they were doing until late afternoon or early evening. Vince was more inaccessible than usual since Vince and the writing crew sat down to start writing the details of the show at 2 p.m
Raw Underground wasn't on this week's show. The word we're getting is that it's not finished, but all is subject to change. So many of the people that would have been in the crowd and others were in contact with people who tested positive since they fill the crowd with people who train at the Performance Center but aren't usually on television.
