#1. Tony Nese reveals WWE didn't allow him to have the WrestleMania match he wanted
Tony Nese was one of the 205 Live stars released by WWE, and the former Cruiserweight champion was quite active on social media after receiving the sad news.
The former Cruiserweight Champion expressed his gratitude towards the fans and reminisced on some of his WWE highlights. The most significant moment in Tony Nese's WWE career came at WrestleMania 35 when he captured the Cruiserweight title from Buddy Murphy.
Nese and Murphy had a rematch on the 205 Live episode after 'Mania, and the follow-up contest ended up being much better.
Tony Nese and Buddy Murphy wanted to have a more physical and hard-hitting match at WrestleMania, which they weren't allowed to do by the WWE officials.
Nese added that 'no one in-house' watched 205 Live as they went on to wrestle their originally planned match on the episode after WrestleMania.
"I love that my Mania moment left an impression on some of you. I suggest watching the rematch vs [Buddy Murphy] from 205 Live after. That was the match we really wanted to give you but weren't allowed. Good thing is, no one in-house even watches 205 so we just did it then."
