#3 Possible reason WWE Superstar The Miz became the MITB holder

WWE Superstar The Miz defeated Otis at HIAC to become the new Mr. MITB. This is the second time in history that the winner of the MITB ladder match has lost his contract to another Superstar.

It was believed that the reason for Otis losing the contract was that WWE did not have enough confidence in the Superstar to cash-in the contract. Dave Meltzer of WOR has stated that there are currently no plans for The Miz to cash in either.

''He better not cash-in because that would be... you know, I think it's on him because they needed a guy who could not cash it in this year, you know, because the whole idea is they're going to strong with Randy Orton or Drew''

The Miz is a former MITB winner and won his first WWE Championship by cashing in his contract. While there may not be any immediate plans for The Miz to cash-in, it is possible that WWE changes their minds soon and give The Miz his second reign as the WWE Champion.
