#1 WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio not interested in facing his son

WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champion Rey Mysterio fought of a lifetime against Roman Reigns inside Hell in a Cell last week on SmackDown. The match came about after Reigns brutally attacked Mysterio's son and tag team partner Dominik Mysterio.

There have been many rumors regarding a possible father-son match between the Mysterios down the road. Speaking to Metro, Rey Mysterio quashed these rumors and said that he isn't interested in facing his son Dominik Mysterio:

"We’re enjoying such a great moment right now within our personal lives, within our wrestling careers. For me, it’s a complete blessing, before I end up retiring – to have been able to share these moments with my son. So that thought of possibly facing each other, I think was thrown down the trash a while back."

The former WWE Champion admitted that his son Dominik and he had talked about a possible match when he started training for a career in WWE. However, they have abandoned the idea now.
