#3 Future plans for WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns

The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns is set to defend his Universal Championship against Daniel Bryan on WWE SmackDown this week. However, in a major twist to the match, the Big Dog has made it clear that he wants Daniel Bryan "gone" if he loses the match.

With Daniel Bryan hinting at taking a sabbatical from his full-time schedule, this could be a way for WWE to write Bryan off television. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer (via CSS) has stated that the match between Reigns and Bryan is a bridge for Cesaro to become Reigns' next challenger.

"The Roman Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan title match on SmackDown next week is expected to lead to Reigns vs. Cesaro, though it’s unclear exactly how. The Observer noted there are many possible directions that are on the table."

Daniel Bryan has already lost to Roman Reigns thrice in the past couple of months, although the Big Dog always employed nefarious means to beat Bryan. This will be Bryan's last chance at redemption.
