Two-time WWE Champion The Miz spoke highly about former world champion John Cena during his WWE 24 documentary. The Miz explained that he wasn't very confident when he started with WWE. However, it was only after working with John Cena and learning from him that he realized what it takes to be a true champion in WWE.

"And I didn’t realize I wasn’t there until I started wrestling John Cena. John Cena taught me more than I could ever imagine. I remember going on live events and learning from John Cena. He taught me what it takes to be the caliber of superstar I needed to be to be WWE Champion."
