WWE's newest star Dominik Mysterio breaks character to praise Seth Rollins

Dominik Mysterio made his singles debut at WWE SummerSlam earlier this week. He was up against Seth Rollins in a Street Fight and despite failing to pick up a win, his in-ring debut was heavily praised by both fans and critics.

Dominik was on The Gorilla Position podcast this week and spoke positively about Rollins and how he has helped him in the build-up to his first WWE match. The 23-year-old added that he could not have asked for a better opponent to make his debut and was thankful for everything the former WWE Champion did during the feud.

Seth has been nothing but so helpful and so kind. He said it before. He is a master at his craft. I couldn't think of anyone else to have a debut match, anyone better than Seth Rollins. I am very thankful for him and everything that he's done for me." [H/T WrestlingNews.co]

Dominik teamed up with his father, Rey Mysterio on Monday Night RAW this week to take on Seth Rollins and Murphy. However, the match could not be completed as RETRIBUTION attacked the father-son duo.

It has now been announced that Dominik and Rey Mysterio will get another crack at Rollins and Murphy at Payback.
