#4 Major backstage confusion because of the draft
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
With a fresh draft set to take place on October 11th on SmackDown and October 14th on RAW, the creative teams have reportedly been left clueless about the future of the Superstars which has resulted in them not being able to decide upon storylines for the stars.
As per a report from Sportskeeda's Tom Colohue:
The Raw and SmackDown Creative teams have not been informed ahead of time what the results of the incoming draft will be, forcing a number of re-writes, the writing of multiple potential options and confusion over what long term storylines may have to be abandoned. This is according to internal WWE sources.
Colohue also stated that he has been informed that the creative teams have been working very hard backstage even though they have little idea about which Superstars will end up on RAW and who will head to SmackDown. This has led to major concern regarding the fate of ongoing stories, especially the program between Rowan and Roman Reigns.
He also revealed that some of the talent are worried that they may be taken out of the spotlight after the draft.
It will be interesting to see how the Executive directors of RAW and SmackDown - Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff - handle this situation.
