WWE has reportedly parted ways with the Hall of Famer.

What's the story?

Pro Wrestling Sheet exclusively reports that Arn Anderson has left the WWE after being with the company for almost 18 years.

In case you didn't know...

Anderson is best known for being a part of the iconic Four Horsemen stable alongside the likes of Ric Flair, Ole Anderson, and Tully Blanchard. Anderson had quite a successful time with the now-defunct World Championship Wrestling (WCW), where he won the Television and World Tag Team team titles.

He stuck around with the company until it was eventually purchased by Vince McMahon in 2001. WWE employed Anderson as a road agent and later on made him the senior producer of Raw. He has been seen appearing on TV every now and then to stop brawls between superstars and to occasionally feature in filler angles.

He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2012 as part of the Four Horsemen and has been a pivotal figure in the way things are portrayed on Raw for the past few years.

The heart of the matter

As per rumors carried by multiple sources according to Pro Wrestling Sheet's Ryan Satin, WWE let Anderson go after a long stint as the backstage producer.

The reason behind his WWE exit is still under wraps, however, we will keep you updated regarding the same.

What's next?

Anderson is currently 60 years old and has been a faithful servant of the WWE for over 18 years. We're still not sure whether Anderson asked for his release or was it the WWE who took the decision to cut him off. Nonetheless, more details on the developing story should be made public in the coming days.

Stay tuned as we get you more on the same.
