Even in a game of word disassociation, “underrated” would be uttered when Cesaro’s name comes up. The Swiss Superman is now his own brand in the WWE, the forgotten mix of less talk, more walk that is elusive in today’s ecosystem.
It appears as though he is now in the front of the queue and will receive the much-delayed push that a lot of fans and WWE officials have anticipated. It was heard that Vince McMahon didn’t want to swing the spotlight on Cesaro because he felt he wasn’t exciting and needed to polish his in-ring game.
It is now reported by dailywrestlingnews.com that Vince has changed his mind and now appreciates the fact he lets his wrestling do the talking and that that’s his greatest asset. In the time he spent recovering from injury, a lot of people were insistent about Cesaro getting his push. In fact, it is believed that Cesaro’s push could elevate him further, if he manages to stay away from the doctor’s room.
That push might precipitate at WWE Payback, where it is rumoured that Cesaro could win the Intercontinental Championship from The Miz. It musn’t be assumed that this is a certainty because The Miz has his own share of voices in support of a continued title reign.
The Jason Statham doppelganger gimmick might be new to strictly WWE fans, but it is based on something he carried with him during his time on the indy circuit.
