WWE Rumors: Company choosing not to use 2-time Champion because of The Usos

Former 2-time Women's Champion Naomi has been absent from active competition for quite some time now. Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer has stated that the reason behind this absence is that the company isn't using The Usos on television either.

Meltzer said Naomi has been kept off television because The Usos are still being kept off television.

Naomi, the wife of Jimmy Uso, had stated on her social media in September that she is dealing with some health and family issues, stating these reasons to be the cause for her being away from WWE.

On the other hand, The Usos landed in trouble thanks to Jimmy Uso who got arrested on DUI charges in July. Both the brothers have not been seen in action since then.

While it could certainly be possible that WWE is waiting for the matter to cool down before they bring all three Superstars back, one reason for these three being kept off television could merely be the overstacked rosters and no creative plans.

Naomi has been a pivotal part of the women's division in recent years and was also the first-ever winner of the Women's Battle Royal at WrestleMania.

What could the future hold for The Usos?

The Usos are one of the greatest tag teams in today's WWE and have held the WWE Tag Team Championships 6 times. So, having the sons of Rikishi get back to action soon would help the languishing tag team division right now.

While The New Day are Tag Team Champions on SmackDown, RAW could certainly use an experienced team like The Usos to help the division reach more prominence.
