What's the story?
While Bobby Lashley has continued to do most of posing in the ring in front of the entire WWE Universe, EC3 has been shown backstage doing the same thing in front of a mirror on the last two episodes of Raw.
Bryan Alvarez mentioned on Wrestling Observer Radio that EC3 will likely feud with Bobby Lashley soon 'because they both like to pose'. Ringsidenews.com ran a transcript of the show.
In case you didn't know...
EC3 is one of the six NXT superstars that was slated to debut on the main roster before 2019 started. While he has shown up a few times in backstage skits, he is yet to have a match.

Nikki Cross teamed with Bayley and Sasha Banks last week while Heavy Machinery knocked off the Ascension last night on Raw.
Bobby Lashley was featured in another segment where all he did was pose. Apollo Crews interrupted him and the two had a pose-down that led to a match where Lashley prevailed.
The heart of the matter
Since both EC3 and Lashley have had 'posing in front of people' as the main part of their character's personality, Alvarez speculated that the first main-roster feud for EC3 would be Lashley because of the posing. Dave Meltzer also negatively chimed in with his opinions on a potential feud.
“You know their matches in Impact sucked, they’re not gonna be [better in WWE]. You think those guys have improved? Lashley is not as good as he was in Impact. EC3, we’ll see, but he didn’t show anything in NXT that was any better than what he did in Impact. It’s not, how much are those guys… you know… and Impact gave them a lot more leeway to work than WWE will.”
While Meltzer and Alvarez don't appear to be enthused for another feud between Lashley and EC3 albeit in WWE, their styles aren't predicated on in-ring mastery like those of Finn Balor and Daniel Bryan.
Lashley and EC3 are both different types of narcissistic and WWE has relayed that any time either man has recently appeared on Raw.
EC3 has played the teenager practising in front of the mirror while Lashley has rehashed Rick Rude circa 1988-1989 with his constant posing. Although Rude never bent over in a pose, he did drive the ladies wild when he shook his hips.
What's next?
EC3 and Lashley aren't the type of wrestlers who rely on fast-paced action.
WWE has often improved wrestlers from Impact, including Samoa Joe and AJ Styles. Perhaps if this becomes an actual feud, EC3 will get to showcase more of his personality.
The new recruits have to start somewhere, so perhaps pairing EC3 with someone with which he's already worked is an easy way to get him over more with fans.
