What's the story?
This past week, we witnessed the first PPV of 2019, Royal Rumble, which delivered on many counts. Up next for WWE is the Elimination Chamber, where we await a host of mouthwatering clashes, including the crowning of the inaugural WWE women's tag team champions.
Following the Elimination Chamber PPV is Fastlane, and recent reports have indicated that three matches may have already been fixed for the PPV, which involves, Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch, and Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley.
In case you didn't know...
At the 2019 Royal Rumble, Becky Lynch won the women's Royal Rumble match after entering in place of Lana, and eliminating Charlotte Flair to win the Rumble match. She had lost her match against Asuka earlier in the night for the SmackDown women's title.
Lynch then chose to face Ronda Rousey, on RAW, and then on SmackDown she had a confrontation with Charlotte Flair, who later attacked the Royal Rumble winner.
Meanwhile, Seth Rollins chose to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 35, and was later F5'd multiple times by the Universal champion.
And on SmackDown, Triple H announced that Daniel Bryan would defend his WWE Championship title against Randy Orton, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Mustafa Ali, and Jeff Hardy inside the Elimination Chamber.
The heart of the matter
PWInsider reports that local agencies are advertising three matches for the Fastlane PPV, which will be held on March 10, 2019 in Cleveland, Ohio.
WWE Champion Daniel Bryan will defend his title once again against AJ Styles in a repeat of the match that happened at Royal Rumble.
Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair will continue their rivalry as they face off in a singles match, while the third match that is speculated to happen is between Bobby Lashley and Seth Rollins for the Intercontinental title.
What's next?
Before Fastlane, we have the Elimination Chamber PPV, which will be held on February 17, 2019.
