It's hard to believe that WWE has not announced a single match for the upcoming TLC PPV, but current storylines trends should give the fans a clear picture of what to expect at the show. The main event is rumored to have Bray Wyatt defending the Universal Championship against Daniel Bryan in a rematch from Survivor Series, however, there could be a change of plan.
As reported by Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there is a possibility that WWE holds off on The Fiend vs. Bryan rematch for a later date.
In that case, WWE will turn towards The Miz as the opponent for Wyatt. The Miz has played a role in the ongoing angle between Bryan and Wyatt and it makes sense to get The A-Lister involved to prolong the storyline.
However, as of this writing, Meltzer did state that Bryan vs. Fiend is on the books for TLC.

Here's what he noted about the potential TLC main event and the rumored change:
"The main event right now looks to be The Fiend vs. Daniel Bryan. Bryan has heavy involvement in his storyline and Fiend vs. Bryan is a direction planned and is currently on the books for this show, but there is said to be a chance that match will be held off and run later, and if so, Fiend vs. Miz will be used to get through the Bryan story if the idea is to tell more of a story to set up a match than you can over the next two weeks."
As we had reported earlier, The Miz was originally slated to take on The Fiend at Survivor Series, but WWE nixed the match in favour of a bigger bout featuring Daniel Bryan.
It's also interesting to note that The Miz recently cut a promo in which he revealed why facing The Fiend isn't the best idea as the Superstars who have gone up against the twisted entity have undergone major character changes.
It should be noted that The Fiend vs. Daniel Bryan is the main plan with the slight possibility of The Miz getting an unwanted shot at the Universal Championship if the officials choose to add another layer to the story.
