The real success behind All Elite Wrestling was the creation of ALL IN in 2018. When The Young Bucks and Cody Rhodes devised the idea as a way to answer Dave Meltzer's challange that they couldn't fill 10,000 seats, the tickets sold out in 24 hours. With ALL IN being a success, It provided Tony Khan and his father Shahd Khan to financially back them.

The heart of the matter

According to WOR, several WWE Superstars want to sign with AEW once their contracts expire. The report goes as follows,

Several WWE Superstars waiting for contracts to be up to sign with AEW "There are a few who are tight with AEW management or who are really into wanting to be featured and create a legacy of being top stars and feel that’s not going to happen with them on the main roster who have at least some interest. There are also some in NXT who feel they are more likely to be used well in AEW than the main roster who have expressed interest. A few are leaning toward going when their deals are up, and others are taking a wait-and-see."

As others may have noted, Dean Ambrose recently didn't resign with WWE. Could he be one of the WWE Superstars that could sign with AEW? It's been rumored that Dean Ambrose was offerred a 6 Million Dollar Deal by AEW.

What's next?

AEW next PPV is AEW Double or Nothing on May 25, 2019 in Nevada. It'll be interesting to see if any WWE Superstars will show up.
